The Wonderfully executed maiden wearing sandals is draped in a superb flowing classical attire, her hair in an updo held with a crown, holding up the lantern with her right arm.

Warm brown patina throughout.

Diana also known as Artemis in Greek mythology is the daughter of Zeus and the goddess of hunt, wilderness and chastity.

She is a significant deity and her worship was widespread throughout Ancient Greece, her cult being also integrated into ancient Roman beliefs where she is referred to as Diana, considered to be the goddess of the moon.
