AN EXQUISITE PAIR OF 19TH CENTURY LOUIS XVI ST. ORMULU AND MARBLE CANDELABRAS.

Each candelabra is raised on a square Rouge Griotte marble base on fine toupie shaped feet below a most elegant pierced fitted ormolu band.

The socle pedestals are adorned by fine foliate designs.

The ormolu bodies display charming and extremely decorative scenes of richly chased classical maidens wearing dresses flowing in the wind.

The bodies are incased by charming foliate and palmette designed handles at each side.

Above are the outstanding arms each displaying lovely spiraled designs adorned with large acanthus leaves and ending in floral candle cups.
